Texture and Finish: It features a remarkably smooth, matte grain side surface with a dense, resilient feel. The colors are achieved through a full aniline-dyeing process, allowing the natural character of the hide to remain visible while displaying rich, deep hues.
Temper (Firmness): Buttero is categorized as having a medium-to-firm temper. Unlike softer vacchetta leathers, it offers excellent rigidity and holds its shape exceptionally well, making it ideal for items that require crisp, clean lines.

2. Pueblo Badalassi Carlo
Unique Texture: The hallmark of Pueblo leather is its rustic, matte surface that feels soft and slightly suede-like to the touch. The tannery uses a special machine to buff the surface with micro circular scratches, giving it a unique “sandblasted” or marbled appearance.
Exceptional Patina: Despite starting with a rough, matte texture, Pueblo ages dramatically and rapidly. With daily use, it absorbs oils from your hands, causing the micro-scratches to smooth out and the leather to darken into a rich, deep, lustrous sheen.
Firmness and Temper: It features a medium to firm temper.
